EDWARDS WORKFORCE CENTER TEAMS WITH COLORADO MOUNTAIN COLLEGE FOR WINTER JOB FAIR
Employment opportunities across Eagle County to be offered
The Edwards Workforce Center will host a winter hiring event on October 10, connecting job seekers with a diversity of employment opportunities.
The Eagle County Winter Job Fair takes place from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Colorado Mountain College Edwards Campus, 150 Millers Ranch Road in Edwards. Representatives from more than 20 businesses will be at the event with full-time and part-time positions to be filled.
For job seekers interested in seasonal work, the event will offer hundreds of jobs at ski resorts and hotels across Colorado’s high country. “But this is more than a ski industry job fair,” stresses Rosemary Pettus, Director of the Edwards Workforce Center. “You can talk with employers about their year-round positions as well, including administrative office positions. There will be a wide variety to choose from.”
Having an account with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s job bank, Connecting Colorado (www.connectingcolorado.com) is helpful but is not required.
